Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 cup Plain Oats:
  • 1 cup Rice Puff
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1 1/4 Mixed Dry Fruits/Seeds
  • 1/4 cup Nutella or Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 cup Dates (Khajur)
  • 1/2 cup Milk (to grind khajur) ((approximately))
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Plum/Cranberry, ((approximately))
  • 6-7 drop Vanilla Essence ((Optional))
Instructions
    Method
  1. Dry Portion:
    1. Take a pan and roast oats and rice puff until they are slightly crispy.
    2. Roast all the dry fruits, seeds, and plums for about 2 minutes.
    3. Add salt and mix both dry portions in a bowl. Keep aside.
  2. Wet Portion:
    1. Grind the dates (khajur) into a thick paste.
    2. In a pan, combine milk, Nutella or peanut butter, and honey. Heat until they are mixed well. Avoid overcooking.
    3. Mix all the dry and wet portions together in a bowl. Add vanilla essence if desired.
  3. Assembly:
    1. Grease a pan tray with butter or oil, or line it with butter paper/parchment sheet.
    2. Spread the prepared mixture evenly in the tray using a spatula.
    3. Cover with cling wrap and freeze for 1-2 hours, or until set.
    4. Once set, cut into cubes and wrap each cube with chocolate foils or parchment paper.
  4. Ready to Serve.
  5. Shelf life:

    Up to 30 days if kept in an airtight box in the fridge.
